Your Proustian madeleine?

The smell of hot quince compote…

Your favorite family (besides your own and ours)?

The Clintons! 🙂 In Hillary I trust!

Where do you have lunch as a family?

On weekdays, at home, with our wonderful nanny’s delicious cooking—no time to prepare lunch! :)

On weekends, still no time to prepare lunch: we love going to the restaurant, especially Le Richer downstairs.

What does an afternoon snack with the family look like at your house?

Never the same thing: slices of bread (with chocolate), crêpes (with chocolate), cake (with chocolate), Liège waffles (with chocolate), and often Sébastian Gaudard’s meringue rhubarb tart… (and some fruit too, for peace of mind…)

An activity you do with the children?

Making tarts! Zoé is very curious and loves food, and she loves cooking…

A recipe you can make in no time?

With a yogurt pot: a classic yogurt cake (with apples or bananas)!

How do they get into mischief?

When my eldest turns the apartment upside down and tells me, “No, Mom, it’s not a mess—it’s decorating!”

What do they make a big deal out of?

Like all children, when they try to negotiate more screen time…

A favorite “À la Mère de Famille” product?

The folies de l’écureuil… They’re to die for—I can’t stop once I start!

A gift for À La Mère de Famille for its 255th birthday?

Lots of beautiful little children!

As Annie Cordy used to say, Cho KaKakao, if I give you chocolate, what will you give me?

Pineapples!
