What is your Proustian madeleine? The smell of brand-new school supplies

Your favorite family (besides your own and ours)? The Gainsboroughs—they are beautiful, talented, and discreet… Otherwise, as a child, I wanted to be the daughter in The Cosby Show!

Where do you have lunch as a family? We have a ritual: Sunday brunch. With or without friends, but always with the children. Since we live in Marseille, we often go to Le Réfectoire, where there are plenty of games for them.

What does a family snack time look like at your house? A real free-for-all. Nutella, cakes, sweets… In moderation, of course! But I admit I don’t follow the rule: one piece of fruit and one dairy product. The children’s pleasure comes first.

An activity that is anything but boring with the children? I like creative activities: collage, cutting out shapes—we make quite a few useless things, but they’re pretty and keep them busy!

A recipe you can whip up in no time? Am I allowed to say pasta with butter? Okay, how about spinach tart, which made my children enjoy this much-hated vegetable again: ready-made puff pastry, pre-chopped frozen spinach, cream, eggs, and goat cheese to make it go down easier, 30 minutes in the oven, and the children ask for more!

How do they wrap you around their little fingers? Unfortunately, it doesn’t take much: a cocker spaniel look and a “Mommy, I loooove you,” and I’m done for.

They make a big fuss when…? It’s time to do homework! That’s when war breaks out, and it often ends very badly…

A favorite product from “À la Mère de Famille”? The Praliné Rochers

A gift for ALMF for its 255th birthday? Botox to stay young! Just kidding, of course 😉 255 years?? It’s not that old!

As Annie Cordy said, Cho KaKakao, if I give you chocolate, what will you give me? Ouch, I’m stumped!!! Should I say pineapple?? I don’t know…
