A New Floral Gift Box

Willa À la Mère de Famille Gift Set

A great admirer of the Maison and its playful spirit, artist Willemien Bardawil followed the joyful impulses of her appetite and her brushes to illustrate a brand-new gift box for the Maison.

Willa in Her Studio

Hidden beneath this bouquet of pastel and golden flowers is an assortment of fruit pastes, candied apples, and almond paste. Enough to delight you and make a lovely gift!

Behind the Scenes

The making of our little candied apples is a truly delightful sight. Made from a low-sugar almond paste with a higher almond content, they are decorated by hand and then coated with a thin layer of candied sugar that protects their incomparable softness.

Plump, soft, and tangy, our fruit pastes are made in our workshop using fruit purées with no added flavors or colorings. A delicious treat…

About

Illustration of the Willa À la Mère de Famille Gift Set

Born in Great Britain, Willemien Bardawil grew up in a hidden garden somewhere between London and Paris. After working in fashion for four years following her studies at the École des Beaux-Arts, she loves discovering rare pieces, quality craftsmanship, and anything with style.

An endlessly curious spirit, she has lived in Paris for two years, eagerly exploring museums and regularly leading painting, illustration, and portrait workshops in the capital.

Inspired by flowers, colorful stripes, and the light of Provence, as well as the generous forms of the Renaissance, Willemien Bardawil is passionate about Post-Impressionist art and pays tribute to the great masters as well as her own love of fine food.

Romantic and pop, her paintings swirl with the freshness of carefree joy and exude a natural, fluid grace.
