Focused on their desire to bring goodness and beauty into everyday life, ceramic artist Pia Chevalier and Paris's oldest chocolate shop, À la Mère de Famille, have come together perfectly. The combination of their expertise and their vast, centuries-old imagination has given life to a collection of Easter egg cups: crack open the eggs!

Just as the Maison lovingly shapes the cocoa beans it sources to make its own chocolate couvertures and traditional Easter eggs, Pia Chevalier expresses her love for raw materials by constantly transforming them to create unique pieces.

"For À la Mère de Famille, I wanted a meeting between the marine world that I celebrate through my 'Octopus and Jellyfish' ceramics collection and the chocolate shop's Easter-inspired gourmand universe; the magical time of year when the Maison is full of many sea-themed molds and fritures. "
Remarkably hand-modeled by Pia Chevalier, these egg cups were designed to hold À la Mère de Famille chocolate eggs, but that's not all... The Œuf'ctopus, a decorative object in its own right, will find its place in homes, and the Délici'œuf will become the precious companion of soft-boiled egg lovers with its loop for a salt shaker or spoon.

She approaches ceramics very intuitively, using hand-building and pinching techniques. Pia Chevalier gives birth to oversized, funny sculptures often inspired by the culinary world. Donut-shaped cups, whipped cream candle holders, macarons, or even octopus vases, her creations boast a gourmand aesthetic that is never literal.
