Your Proustian madeleine?
Mousseur chocolate, a hot chocolate with lots and lots of foam. Only my parents have the machine to make it…
Your favorite family (besides yours and ours)?
Friends, the family you choose!
Where do you have lunch as a family?
In the kitchen. We love kitchens.
What does an afternoon snack with the family look like at your house?
Thick slices of rustic bread, lightly toasted, with dark chocolate and whole hazelnuts melting on top.
A real handful with the children?
Cooking, baking cakes… One day they’ll do it all by themselves, for you!
A recipe you can whip up in no time?
Bananas cooked and caramelized in a little butter and sugar… They’ve always loved them (and if there’s some vanilla ice cream left at the bottom too…).
How do you roll them in the flour?
With smiles, kisses, hugs, and promises.
What do they make a big deal out of?
When I make “golognaise” pasta, Golovanoff-style Bolognese. Especially since I’m vegetarian, it’s become rarer!
A favorite product from À la Mère de Famille?
Mendiants, marshmallows, chocolate bars.
A gift for À la Mère de Famille for her 256th birthday?
Well, obviously at the moment, I’m really into cashmere… So a marshmallow-pink sweater!
As Annie Cordy said in Cho Kakao, if you give me chocolate, what will you give me?
The toast that goes with it, and we’ll share?
