"Families of friends" like those seen in Claude Sautet's films

Often at Joe Allen when we are in Paris, but most often at our home in Mortagne after a good market trip! By the fireplace or under the arbor.
What does a family snack time look like at your place?
A kind of joyful and chaotic picnic! Fruit, dried fruit, store-bought biscuits or toast during the week; and on weekends, a fabulous lemon cake or homemade pastries made by others more talented than me.
A real treat of an activity with the children?
Learning to be bored! Cultivating one's secret garden. Making room for daydreaming...
A recipe you can whip up in no time?
A mixed salad with raw and cooked vegetables and all kinds of seeds. Or a good quiche with everything in the fridge!
How do they give you a hard time?
By giving me kisses and looking at me from under the table!
They make a big deal out of it when...?
I come home late and leave again shortly after!

More love... and panties!!
