Elodie Rouge is a journalist. Editor-in-chief of Do It In Paris, she also writes trend pages for Elle magazine. She is Giselle's mum, 1 and a half

Your Proust's madeleine? A forgotten sweet that is actually totally porn food: Négus de Nevers that I used to eat in secret with my grandfather. A chocolate caramel that is so good, it's crunchy, sticky. It's crazy.

Your favorite family? The Moussié family. I don't know them very well, but they have a lot of successful bars, restaurants and hotels. They are furiously nice people.

I would especially like them to adopt me so that:

– I can have an open table at Le Parisien (their sandwiches… Mmm!)

– I can have a year-round room at the Hotel Providence whose erotic potential would awaken a nun's libido

– I can drink cocktails on open bar on the heated terrace.

3) They are very beautiful (I like beautiful people), especially Elodie!

Where do you have lunch as a family? Whether it's windy, snowing or a heatwave, I have lunch every Saturday on the terrace of the Comptoir du Relais, Yves Camdeborde's restaurant, at high noon with my daughter Giselle, before the tourists show up. We started when she was 3 days old. For me: egg mayo then octopus salad with a glass of red wine. For her: a plate of mashed potatoes with lots of butter. It was Yves who gave her her first little jar of chocolate cream when she was 6 months old. Classy in Vegas, right?

What does a family snack time look like at your place? A plain chou from Maison du Chou, Place Furstenberg. It tastes like cheesecake in a chou. Hangover variant: spaghetti with tomato sauce and burrata inside. Very effective and comforting.

A non-trivial activity with the kids? Making yogurt cakes. They are so happy and behave because they are playing grown-ups.  It has a bit of an action-reaction side. No time to get bored. And hop, crack eggs. Oops: stir. Tac: grease the mold. Stick it in the oven. It's done in half an hour and they feel like they have made the 7th wonder of the world.

A recipe that can be done in two shakes of a spoon?  The dinner that all my friends absolutely love when they are feeling extremely lazy.

Truffle ham + mashed potatoes

Cook 1 kg of potatoes (the dirty and big ones from the market). Peel + cut into small pieces.

  • Cook until they are very, very cooked.
  • Drain and mash with a fork. Add lots of butter and half a glass of warm milk.
  • Mash and stir until you get mashed potatoes.
  • Serve very hot with very thin slices of ham

Note: the chic side lies in the truffle ham. My supplier: Pastavino, rue de Buci.

How do they roll you in the flour? Like last night for example… When Giselle thinks it's funny to clink my Baccarat glasses full of red wine. Can you picture the drama?

They make a big deal out of it when…? I take her hands away from MY jar of strawberry jam

A favorite product "A la Mère de Famille"? It's hard to choose. The chocolate spread. I absolutely love nougat. And ice cream! oh how good ice cream is. Have I told you about calissons and pralines?

A gift for ALMF for its 255th birthday? Open a chocolate theme park. An UFO between Disney and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

As Annie Cordy said, Cho KaKakao if I give you chocolate what do you give me? Your place in paradise, man
